dmarcian Pricing in 2026 and What Each Plan Really Costs

· 7 min read

Checks run by DNS only. Nothing is sent from or to your domain.

dmarcian costs $19.99 a month for Basic, $199 a month for Plus and $499 a month for Enterprise when you pay yearly, or $24, $240 and $600 on monthly billing. Basic covers 2 domains, Plus 8 and Enterprise 15, and anything bigger is a custom quote. There is also a free Personal plan, but it is limited to non-business use.

We sell a product that overlaps with dmarcian, so everything below comes from dmarcian's own pricing page as of October 2026, and we say plainly where it is the better choice. Check dmarcian.com before you sign, since prices and limits change.

Message allowances are defaults. dmarcian says overages are priced separately, so a company that sends more than its tier allows should ask for that number before buying. Inactive domains (parked domains that send no mail) are unlimited on paid plans, which matters if you own a portfolio of defensive registrations.

How much does dmarcian cost per year?

dmarcian costs $239.88 a year on Basic, $2,388 a year on Plus and $5,988 a year on Enterprise with annual billing. On monthly billing the same plans add up to $288, $2,880 and $7,200 a year, so paying up front saves about 17 percent. Vendr, which tracks software purchases, reports a median buyer price of $5,988 a year, which suggests most business customers end up on Enterprise.

The big step is between Basic and Plus. Basic stops at 2 active domains and one user. A company with a main domain, a marketing subdomain on a separate domain and a third for support tickets is already over the line, and the next plan costs ten times as much. That jump is the single most common reason people search for dmarcian pricing in the first place.

What you get on each dmarcian plan

Basic, for one brand

Basic gives you the DMARC management platform, aggregate report processing, SPF Surveyor, the DKIM inspector and validator, the BIMI inspector, TLS reporting and Alert Central. It suits a small business that sends from one domain through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and one marketing platform. Three months of history is enough to reach enforcement but short for spotting seasonal senders.

Plus, for growing companies

Plus raises the limits to 8 domains, 3 users, 1,000,000 messages and a year of history, and adds domain groups. This is the plan a mid-size company with several brands lands on. At $199 a month billed yearly it is priced like a business tool, not a utility.

Enterprise, for many teams

Enterprise covers 15 domains, unlimited users and history, 5,000,000 messages and Domain Discovery, which finds domains you own but forgot about. Forensic report processing, user access controls, API access and single sign on sit in the higher tiers; confirm which ones your tier includes on dmarcian's comparison table before you buy, because the plan columns are where buyers most often get surprised.

What dmarcian costs for three typical companies

Entry prices only tell part of the story. Here is what the published plans work out to for three setups we see often, using annual billing.

A single-brand SaaS company

One main domain sends product mail through a transactional provider, and the marketing team uses a second domain for newsletters. That is 2 active domains and well under 100,000 messages a month for most early-stage companies, so dmarcian Basic at $239.88 a year covers it. The catch is the single user seat. If the IT lead and the marketing ops manager both need to log in, the next step is Plus at $2,388 a year.

A retailer with several store brands

Five store brands, each with its own domain, plus a corporate domain for invoices and HR mail, add up to 6 active domains. Basic is out, Plus fits with room for two more brands, and the bill is $2,388 a year. Seasonal peaks matter here. A retailer that sends 300,000 messages in a normal month and 1.4 million in November will pass the Plus allowance during the holidays, so ask dmarcian how overages are billed before you sign.

An outbound agency with rotating domains

A cold email agency running 40 secondary domains for 8 clients is past Enterprise's 15 domain limit on day one, which means a custom quote. For this kind of team, the bigger cost is usually not DMARC at all. It is the day lost when one of those domains lands on a blacklist and nobody notices until reply rates collapse. That is why most agencies pair DMARC reporting with per-domain deliverability monitoring for cold email agencies.

Costs to budget for beyond the plan price

  • Message overages. Allowances are defaults, and dmarcian prices overages separately. Budget for your busiest month, not your average one.
  • Extra users. Basic has one seat and Plus has three. Security, IT and marketing each want access once reports start showing unknown senders.
  • History. Three months on Basic is enough to reach enforcement, but quarterly senders such as tax or billing platforms can drop out of view before you approve them.
  • Staff time. Someone still has to read the reports, chase vendors to set up DKIM and edit DNS. Plan a few hours a week during rollout.

Is dmarcian worth the price?

For reaching DMARC enforcement, yes. dmarcian was founded by people who worked on the DMARC specification, its documentation is among the best in the field, and the tools for sorting legitimate senders from spoofers are mature. If you have a few domains, an IT team that wants to own the DNS changes, and the goal is p=reject, Basic or Plus is money well spent.

It is a weaker fit in three situations:

  • You have many sending domains. Cold email teams, agencies and multi-brand retailers can pass 15 domains quickly, and from there it is a custom quote.
  • Your problem is blacklists, not spoofing. dmarcian's pricing page does not list blacklist monitoring. If mail is bouncing because an IP or domain landed on Spamhaus or Barracuda, DMARC reports will show the failures but not the listing.
  • You already enforce DMARC. Once you are at p=reject, the daily job shifts from analyzing reports to catching changes: a new vendor sending without DKIM, an SPF record over 10 lookups, a listing on a major blacklist.

BlacklistMonitoring is cheaper than dmarcian Plus for any team with more than 2 domains. Our Business plan covers 100 domains and IPs, 1,000,000 DMARC messages a month and 5 users for $149 a month, and checks every domain on 109 blacklists every 15 minutes. If DMARC enforcement is still ahead of you, our EasyDMARC alternative comparison covers the hosted SPF side, and the DMARC monitoring page shows how report parsing works on our side.

Can I use dmarcian and blacklist monitoring together?

Yes. A DMARC record can carry several reporting addresses in its rua tag, separated by commas, so dmarcian and a second service can receive the same aggregate reports. A common setup is dmarcian Basic for the domain the CEO cares about, plus blacklist monitoring across every sending domain and IP. You keep dmarcian's analysis where it matters most and still hear about a Spamhaus listing within minutes.

If DMARC is on your list because of an audit, the reports from either tool make good evidence. Teams preparing for SOC 2 often track it alongside their other email security controls in compliance automation software that maps controls to SOC 2, so the DMARC policy, the reporting address and the alert history show up in one place for the auditor.

Does dmarcian have a free plan?

dmarcian has a free Personal plan for 2 domains, 1 user and 1,250 DMARC messages a month with one month of history, and it is restricted to personal, non-business use. Any company domain needs a paid plan, starting with Basic at $19.99 a month billed yearly. dmarcian also publishes free lookup tools, such as an SPF and DMARC checker, that anyone can run.

How to pick the right plan

  1. Count your sending domains, not just the main one. Include subdomains on separate organizational domains, ESP sending domains and any secondary domains used for outreach.
  2. Estimate monthly volume from your ESP dashboards. DMARC counts every message, including password resets and invoices.
  3. Decide what you need alerts for: spoofing and authentication failures, blacklist listings, record changes, or all three.
  4. Run a check on your main domain with the email blacklist check to see whether you have a listing problem today.
  5. Compare the yearly total for your domain count, not the entry price. For 2 domains, dmarcian Basic is hard to beat. For 10 or more, published per-domain pricing usually wins.

Our full plan list, from 10 domains and IPs at $49 a month to 5,000 at $1,499, is on the pricing page. Paste your sending domain into the check at the top of this article to see where you stand before you commit to anything.
